Os violões da linha "1000" são famosos na Giannini. Instrumentos construídos no sistema espanhol, maciços e com acabamento de primeira. De maneira geral, quanto maior o número, melhor será a qualidade do madeiramento e mais fino será o acabamento, não é a toa que os modelos "1008" e "1011" estão entre os mais famosos da Giannini.
O que pouca gente sabe, é que em meados dos anos 60 houve uma mudança na Giannini e alguns detalhes únicos como o entalhe no headstock e o mosaico "tridimensional" deixaram de ser usados. Assim, nos anos 60, podemos dividir a Giannini em duas fases, e esse violão faz parte da primeira fase, o que faz dele um instrumento mais que especial.
Algo que chama atenção nesse violão quando olhamos ele ao lado dos mais famosos da linha "1000" é o madeiramento da caixa dele, que é de Grumixava crespa, também conhecida por Curupixá rajado, que é uma madeira nacional, clara e muito parecida com o Flamed Maple. Uma maravilha.
Esse violão tem uma proposta mais clássica, com o timbre mais equilibrado e com agudos maravilhosos. 
Já passou por restauro geral, foi feita uma colagem de trinca no tampo e acabamento novo em nitrocelulose. As tarraxas não são as originais.

The "1000" series guitars are famous in the Giannini lineup. These instruments are built in the Spanish tradition, solid wood, and with top-notch craftsmanship. Generally, the higher the model number, the better the quality of the wood and the finer the finish. It's no wonder that the "1008" and "1011" models are among the most famous in the Giannini range.
What most people don't know is that in the mid-1960s, Giannini underwent a transformation, and unique details like the carving on the headstock and the "three-dimensional" mosaic were discontinued. Thus, the 1960s can be divided into two phases for Giannini, and this guitar belongs to the first phase, making it a truly special instrument.
One striking feature of this guitar, especially when compared to the more famous models in the "1000" series, is the wood used for its body—Grumixava Crespa, also known as Curupixá Rajado. This national wood is light in color and bears a striking resemblance to Flamed Maple. A true beauty.
This guitar has a more classical sound profile, with a balanced tone and beautiful high notes.
It has undergone a complete restoration, including crack repair on the top and a new nitrocellulose finish. The tuning machines are not original.
